About the CAL Ambassador Program
The Catch A Lift (CAL) Ambassador Program is a volunteer outreach initiative made up of CAL Members who are passionate about helping other combat-injured Veterans discover the life-changing support available through Catch A Lift. Ambassadors serve as representatives of our mission by sharing their personal experiences, educating others about CAL’s programs, and connecting eligible Veterans with our wellness community.
The Ambassador Program is open to CAL Members in Phase 2: Mission Ready and Phase 3: Legacy Membership. This ensures our Ambassadors have experienced the CAL program firsthand and are able to confidently share their personal journey, the resources they have utilized, and the impact Catch A Lift has had on their health and wellness with other combat-injured Veterans.
As a CAL Ambassador, you can represent Catch A Lift in whatever way best fits your schedule and interests. This may include attending veteran and community events, speaking with Veterans at local VA facilities or VFW posts, sharing CAL resources with healthcare providers and community organizations, participating in outreach opportunities, or simply having conversations with fellow Veterans who may benefit from our programs.
Ambassadors receive outreach materials, exclusive updates, access to the Ambassador VetConnect community, and opportunities to participate in virtual meetings, Ambassador-only challenges, and special events. Through brief outreach reports, Ambassadors help us understand where our message is being shared and how we can continue expanding our reach.
There is no minimum time commitment—every conversation, referral, and connection makes a difference. By serving as a CAL Ambassador, you become an important part of our mission to improve the lives of combat-injured Veterans through fitness, nutrition, emotional wellness, and community. Together, we can ensure that more Veterans learn about the resources available to help them thrive.
Additional information about the CAL Ambassador Program, including upcoming opportunities and announcements, is shared regularly in the Weekly Connection newsletter. If you have additional questions or are ready to become an Ambassador, please contact Lisa Turner, LCSW-C, Veteran Services Manager, at LTurner@catchaliftfund.com.
